Meredith Gorman

Meredith Gorman is currently a reporter & host for NESN. She covers all of the Boston sports teams and brings her familiarity with the area teams to New England viewers. She is also the host of “Golf Destination,” a show that airs on NESN and Fox Sports Florida.

Prior to joining NESN, Meredith worked in the Boston sports market in various roles. She served as the team reporter for the New England Patriots, where she covered the team on a beat basis during the season, conducted interviews and feature stories with players and traveled with the team. Her reports were seen on all of the Patriots platforms, WBZ-CBS Boston and NBC Sports Boston. She also hosted a live pregame panel before every home game. The 2018-19 season was her third season covering the team — which included three straight trips to the Super Bowl.

She also worked as a sideline reporter and studio host for Monumental Sports Network — covering the entire AFL season as an on-field sideline reporter for games that aired on various NBC Sports regional stations, ESPN+ and local affiliates. The season concluded with her sideline reporting the Arena Bowl Championship on ESPN2.

Meredith began her career upon graduating from Northeastern University as a multimedia sports reporter at the Boston Herald. At the Herald, she covered all of the Boston sports teams, conducted on-camera interviews, edited, wrote stories and produced digital content as a “one-man band.” She also hosted her own sports radio show. Her time at the Herald included covering the 2016-17 Patriots Super Bowl season, as well as the Boston Celtics run into the postseason. During her full-time reporting job at the Herald, Meredith also worked as a production assistant at New England Sports Network during Boston Bruins & Boston Red Sox broadcasts, CBS Sports and as a Stage Manager for Fox Sports' remote game broadcasts.

She is a 2016 graduate of Northeastern University. While being a full-time student, she traveled herself from Boston to every "SEC Game of the Week" during the 2014-15 football season to work as a production assistant & runner for CBS Sports' SEC football coverage. At the close of football season, she moved to New York City after accepting a position as the sole Production Intern at CBS Sports. As an intern, she traveled to & worked the 2015 AFC Championship, the 2015 Final Four and other college basketball games. Her internship was followed by a full-time position as a Production Assistant in the Features department at CBS Sports Network in NYC, where she covered college sports. She also worked as a Production Assistant for "Thursday Night Football" and the "NFL on CBS" remote broadcasts while in school. Early on in college, Meredith worked the 2013 World Series, spent almost a year as an intern in the sports department at WHDH-TV and interned for various television stations in Boston and New York. Following graduation, she spent time with the New York Jets.

Meredith is a Rochester, NY native and an Our Lady of Mercy High School graduate. Sports run in the family — her father, Phil Davis, was a former professional soccer player in the North American Soccer League (NASL).

She was honored with a national award in 2018, being named to Delta Zeta’s “35 Under 35” list — a recognition program for women who have made a significant impact in their career industry before the age of 35. Recipients of the award demonstrated leadership, initiative, and dedication to their careers, are motivated by challenges, serve as volunteers in their communities, and are role models for their peers. She was the first Northeastern alumni to receive the award.

She also remains heavily involved with her alma mater, Northeastern, frequently making public speaking appearances and giving back whenever she can. Meredith also has a passion for producing feature stories that show the human side of sports figures.
